Athleticism matters a great deal at cornerback, and one of the best pure athletes in the league will be available on the free agent market this spring. 26-year-old Bradley Roby is a premier man coverage option due to his speed, fluidity and comfort mirroring receivers. He’s at his best in press coverage but is an above-average option in off-man as well.

The knock on Roby is he’s not a playmaker in terms of turnovers. Though he’s averaged 12 pass deflections in his five seasons, he has only seven interceptions. Consider him a high-end No. 2 corner with elite traits, making him a big-time target in free agency.

Projected deal: Four years, $48 million

Best fits: Denver Broncos, Kansas City Chiefs, Oakland Raiders, Houston Texans, San Francisco 49ers, Arizona Cardinals, Detroit Lions, New York Giants, Pittsburgh Steelers
