The Patriots’ Super Bowl run brought a lot of attention to Trey Flowers, who is set to cash in as a former 2015 fourth-round draft pick. He’s been excellent over the last three years, compiling 21 sacks and five forced fumbles in addition to 5.5 sacks in eight playoff games.

Flowers is only 25 years old right now and doesn’t have the same injury history as Jadeveon Clowney. They’ll be viewed similarly due to their age and good, but not elite, production. Sources consider it highly unlikely Flowers actually hits the open market.

Projected deal: One year, $17.3 million (franchise tag) or five years, $90 million

Best fits: New England Patriots, Miami Dolphins, Indianapolis Colts, Cleveland Browns, Green Bay Packers, San Francisco 49ers, Oakland Raiders, New York Jets, Detroit Lions
