After playing 2018 on the franchise tag, Demarcus Lawrence has no intentions of playing another season without long-term guarantees. He’s earned his gigantic payday, and it should be massive. The Cowboys have indicated a long-term deal is in their plans.

Lawrence is an elite defender with a refined skill set and body that was made in a lab for football. Turning 27 this offseason, he’s amassed 25 sacks in the last two years and asserted himself as a premier run0stopper off the edge. There aren’t many better than Tank.

Projected deal: Five years, $110 million

Best fits: Dallas Cowboys, Indianapolis Colts, Cleveland Browns, San Francisco 49ers, Oakland Raiders, New York Jets, Detroit Lions
