Considered a late-bloomer only by those not paying attention, Pierre Desir was finally lucky enough to play on a team that played well. Desir is a slightly above-average starter who can play in man and zone schemes because of his length and anticipation.

He’s not a turnover threat, but can solidify a No. 2 outside corner spot for several years. He’ll be 29 this fall, so expect a limited-length deal that keeps risk to a minimum. Staying with the Colts makes the most sense considering their cap space and need.

Projected deal: Three years, $27 million

Best fits: Indianapolis Colts, Arizona Cardinals, Buffalo Bills, Houston Texans, Kansas City Chiefs, Oakland Raiders, Washington Redskins, Detroit Lions, San Francisco 49ers
