Players costing $6,667 or under

Brook Lopez (vs WAS – $6,200): Needs 27.5 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 22 fantasy points against Brooklyn. You typically know what you’re getting from Lopez. The shots are always there for him, he chips in with rebounds and he’ll also make some defensive plays. He had 40.7 fantasy points against the Wizards on Feb. 2. He’ll get you points it’s just a matter of how high he’ll go. Diagnosis: Fairly reliable with a high ceiling.

Jarrett Allen (vs DEN – $6,100): Needs 27.1 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 32.7 fantasy points against Milwaukee. Allen has started to turn his game around in recent contests. I’d still like his minutes to be up but maybe they’ll be up in this game given the Nuggets frontcourt. He had 49.8 fantasy points against the Nuggets on Nov. 9 if you’re looking for some confidence in him. Diagnosis: Fairly reliable with a high ceiling.

Mason Plumlee (at BKN – $5,000): Needs 22.2 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 37.25 fantasy points against Detroit. If Millsap is out of the lineup again and Plumlee starts, you can take him with confidence. He’s been very good in recent contests and he should get big minutes if Millsap is out of the lineup. He’s at a very good salary given what his minutes and production should be. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling.
