FanDuel daily picks: Fantasy basketball lineup – February 6, 2019
High Value PG
Players costing $6,667 or under
Shabazz Napier (vs DEN – $5,900): Needs 25.9 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 30.8 fantasy points against Milwaukee. Napier was moved to the starting lineup against the Bucks and it paid off. Whether he’s starting or coming off the bench, the minutes and opportunities are there. The matchup is tough and I expect the Nuggets to come out strong after this loss to the Pistons. But the Nets are a solid team who will punch back. Diagnosis: Reliable with a good ceiling.
Trey Burke (vs CHA – $5,500): Needs 24.1 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 29.7 fantasy points against Dallas. Yes, Burke is about to suit up for the team he last played again. At least, I assume he’ll suit up in this game. If he doesn’t then look elsewhere for value, namely Jalen Brunson if you want to stick with this game. But if Burke plays, I assume he’ll get the minutes and chances alongside Luka. Diagnosis: Reliable with a good ceiling if he ends up playing.
Tim Frazier (at CHI – $4,100): Needs 18 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 8.7 fantasy points against Indiana. It was a bad outing for Frazier against the Pacers but he had been playing well prior to that game and he gets the Bulls in this one. I have to trust him against the Bulls. The minutes and opportunities are typically there and again, it’s the Bulls. He’ll bounce back. Diagnosis: Fairly reliable with a high ceiling.
