FanDuel daily picks: Fantasy basketball lineup – February 6, 2019
High Salary SF
Players costing over $6,667
Giannis Antetokounmpo (vs WAS – $11,900): Needs 50.1 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 66.5 fantasy points against Brooklyn. It’s Giannis. You can always take Giannis with confidence. Even in blowouts, he delivers big games. He had 51 fantasy points against Washington in 33 minutes. You always know what you’re going to get from Giannis and you can always build around him with confidence. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a good ceiling.
Kevin Durant (vs SA – $9,600): Needs 40.4 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 41.5 fantasy points against LA Lakers. Much like Giannis, you typically know what you’re going to get from Durant except the ceiling isn’t nearly as high on most nights. But he’s still reliable because of the team he plays on and the salary he’s at. It’s a weak night at small forward with the high salary guys and you can take Durant with confidence. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a decent ceiling.
Kelly Oubre Jr (at UTA – $6,800): Needs 28.6 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 39.6 fantasy points against Houston. If Devin Booker is out of the lineup, Oubre is in line for a big night. He’s been fantastic for the Suns this season and his salary has jumped up there for a reason. The matchup is tough but with Booker’s injury, Oubre will be a big-time player in this one. He does a bit of everything and his energy will be huge in this game. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling.
