High Salary PF

Players costing over $6,667

Kenneth Faried (at SAC – $8,000): Needs 34.5 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 38.3 fantasy points against Sacramento. Faried bounced back with a strong game against the Suns. I don’t read too much into that because everyone has a big game against the Suns. But Faried looks poised for another big game in this one just due to the Kings style of play. The energy and pace will be up in this game and Faried always plays with a ton of energy. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling.

Lauri Markkanen (vs NO – $7,800): Needs 33.6 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 40.3 fantasy points against Charlotte. Markkanen continues to run hot and while I don’t like anyone on the Bulls on most nights, I continue to love Markkanen’s game overall. And this is a good matchup with the injuries to the Pelicans frontcourt. He averaged 37.4 fantasy points in two games against the Pelicans last season and that was a better Pelicans team than this year. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling.

Marvin Bagley III (vs HOU – $6,800): Needs 29.3 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 56.4 fantasy points against Houston. I’ve been talking out MB3 for pretty much the entire season and now he’s jumped into the high salary category. Maybe that will scare off some people, but not me. Mainly because it’s the Rockets. Their defense remains a mess and I continue to love the pace the Kings play at. And I love MB3’s game overall. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling.
