NFL free agency 2019: Top 50 available players
By Conor Myles
31. Bryce Callahan, CB
Callahan has been a solid slot cornerback for the Chicago Bears ever since signing with the team as an undrafted free agent in 2015. The defensive back has played 45 games for the Bears (29 starts), while tallying four interceptions and 20 passes defended.
Callahan played a career-high 676 snaps in 2018 after missing three games due to injury. He was targeted 52 times, allowing a total of 39 receptions for 319 yards and just one touchdown.
The 27-year-old cornerback would be a great addition to any secondary in need of a slot corner, but the best case scenario for him is returning to Chicago’s defense under new defensive coordinator Chuck Pagano.
