28. Donovan Smith, T

Smith isn’t an elite tackle in any shape or form, but he can be a reliable starter on an already established offensive line. Smith has started every game at left tackle for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers after they made him their second-round pick of the 2015 NFL draft.

His ability to stay on the field protecting the quarterback’s blindside should attract teams in need of a left tackle on the open market. Smith struggled to defend his quarterbacks in 2018, allowing eight sacks, but it’s fair to question how much was on him or the statues in the pocket he was guarding.

Smith should get looks from teams looking for a reliable offensive tackle. The 25-year-old still has his best football ahead of him, and a return to Tampa Bay with a new head coach in Bruce Arians could bring that out of him.
