21. Ronald Darby, CB

Darby’s best football has yet to be put on display, and the 25-year-old hits the free agent market at the right time even though he is coming off a torn ACL that prematurely ended his 2018 season. Darby has yet to play a full season since in the NFL but has reached 14 and 15 games with the Buffalo Bills in 2015 and 2016, respectively; once traded to Philadelphia, he’s only been active for 20 games over two years, including the postseason.

Darby doesn’t have elite cornerback numbers to date but has proven to be a capable starting outside cornerback, and with his young age, it’s fair to be optimistic about his future. The former Bills 2015 second-round pick has yet to allow a reception over 66 yards and has a career average of 57.1 reception percentage.

The Eagles are currently are in the position of needing to clear salary cap space this offseason, so Darby is expected to hit the free agent market. A weaker class of defensive backs should path the way for Darby to get a nicely sized payday.
