Clinton-Dix enters free agency after an up-and-down season that saw him get traded from the Green Bay Packers to the Washington Redskins midway through the 2018 campaign. The former first-round pick of the Packers in 2014 is set to cash in on the open market as one of the better safeties available.

Clinton-Dix is one of the better coverage safeties in the league, and he has yet to allow 300 receiving yards in a season throughout his five thus far in the NFL. He’s only allowed five touchdowns in that same period to go along with his 17 interceptions and pass breakups. His biggest weakness is missed tackles, with 16 over the last two years.

The Redskins may look to keep Clinton-Dix, but a team like the Cleveland Browns could target him as an upgrade to their safety group.
