NFL free agency 2019: Top 50 available players
By Conor Myles
7. Kareem Hunt, RB
Hunt making the list at this spot is a controversial pick due to the fact there is a chance the running back never plays in the NFL again. Signs point to the ex-Kansas City Chiefs star to return to football, but a suspension is most likely going to be handed down by the league at some point after a video of Hunt assaulting a female was aired by TMZ.
Following his release from the Chiefs, Hunt cleared through waivers and has been a free agent as he awaits league punishment. There is just one thing that won’t be denied—Hunt is a top-five running back on the field, which is why he deserves a high ranking.
The Chicago Bears have already been linked to the running back. Teams like the Philadelphia Eagles, Miami Dolphins, and Tampa Bay Buccaneers could pursue Hunt this offseason.
