6. Trey Flowers, DE

Flowers has become a household name in New England as he has ascended to become a star pass rusher. The defensive end was the Patriots fourth-round pick in 2015 and has quickly become a premier edge rusher over the last three seasons.

The 25-year-old edge rusher has 29 sacks in 2,553 total snaps since 2016 (including playoffs). Flowers is also another dominant force in run defense, scoring a grade above 74.5, from Pro Football Focus, in each of his three seasons as a starter, including a grade of 84 in 2018.

The Patriots have been reluctant to pay the premium for an edge rusher the caliber of Flowers. The team traded the likes of Richard Seymour and Chandler Jones prior to both cashing in on huge contracts with their respective organizations. New England could view Flowers in the same light, or potentially use the franchise tag on the star pass rusher.
