46. Pierre Desir, CB

Desir found a home in Indianapolis after stints with the Cleveland Browns, Los Angeles Chargers, and also the Seattle Seahawks practice squad. After being taken in the fourth round of the 2014 NFL Draft, Desir only started seven games his first three seasons in the NFL, but once he landed with the Colts in 2017, the cornerback’s ascension began.

Desir has started 18 games for the Colts the last two seasons while having a total of 15 passes defended, two interceptions, and two forced fumbles. Desir was the second highest ranked cornerback in run defense this past season with a grade of 90.1 according to Pro Football Focus. He also was solid in coverage only allowing three first-down receptions, and no catches for over 85 yards.

The Colts would be wise to bring Desir back after the 28-year-old took off in Matt Eberflus’ defense. While a bargain in 2018, playing on a $1.75-million dollar one-year deal, Desir is set to cash in on a very productive season.
