Players costing over $6,250

DeMar DeRozan (at POR – $7,600): Needs 34.6 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 38.5 fantasy points against Sacramento. DeRozan rested on Wednesday but he should be back for this game. And he’ll be rested while others on the Spurs might not have their legs. The Spurs will need his scoring in this game and he’s played very well against the Blazers this season, going over 48 fantasy points in two games against them. Diagnosis: Reliable with a good ceiling.

Lou Williams (at IND – $7,400): Needs 34.6 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 47.75 fantasy points against Charlotte. I don’t know if Williams will be on the team since the Clippers are trading away their good players in hopes of landing great players. But if he’s on the team, the Clippers will need his scoring and playmaking more than ever with Tobias Harris no longer on the team. And the matchup is good as well. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling.

CJ McCollum (vs SA – $7,000): Needs 32.7 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 46.75 fantasy points against Miami. McCollum is running hot and I love his game right now. The Spurs being on a back-to-back helps a bit even if their top guys were rested. Trust McCollum to keep up his hot play in this game. He’s always doing a bit more than score which certainly helps. Diagnosis: Reliable with a high ceiling.
