Players costing $6,667 or under

Rajon Rondo (at BOS – $6,100): Needs 26.6 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 12 fantasy points against Indiana. Will Rondo be on the roster? I don’t know. But if he’s on the roster, he will play great against his former team. He always brings it against the Celtics. The Lakers can’t be as bad as they were against the Pacers. Unless they are playing with four guys on the court. Diagnosis: Reliable with a high ceiling.

Jerryd Bayless (at ORL – $5,700): Needs 24.9 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 18.4 fantasy points against Memphis. Bayless was down against the Grizzlies but don’t be too concerned. He still gets all the minutes as the point guard and the Magic are a good matchup. And the Grizzlies were in their feelings and had reason to play great, which could explain Bayless’ struggles in that one. He’ll bounce back in this one. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a good ceiling.

Patrick Beverley (at IND – $5,100): Needs 22.3 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 25.7 fantasy points against Charlotte. It’s very possible Beverley doesn’t play in this game due to a trade. But if he plays, I like this matchup for him. He’s played fairly well in recent games, is at a good salary and gets plenty of minutes. I’m expecting a strong outing from him in this one. Diagnosis: Reliable with a good ceiling.
