High Salary SG

Players costing over $6,667

Lou Williams (at IND – $8,200): Needs 35.8 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 45.6 fantasy points against Charlotte. Much like Beverley, I don’t know if Williams is going to be on the team by the time the game tips off. But if he plays, I expect him to deliver. He’s been great in recent games outside of a rough outing against Toronto on a back-to-back. The matchup is good with the Pacers still not being quite right without Oladipo. And with Harris gone, much of the offense will fall on Lou. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling.

DeMar DeRozan (at POR – $7,900): Needs 34.5 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 39.8 fantasy points against Sacramento. DeRozan is expected to be back in the lineup after missing Wednesday’s game but check his status before making any decisions. He’ll at least be rested while the rest of the Spurs might lag behind. He was good against the Kings and he’s been great against the Blazers this season, averaging 52.9 fantasy points in two games. Diagnosis: Reliable with a good ceiling.

CJ McCollum (vs SA – $7,500): Needs 32.7 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 43 fantasy points against Miami. McCollum is running hot right now and even though the Spurs are a tough matchup and will have some rested players on a back-to-back, McCollum is too hot to pass up at this point. And it’s a slow night at SG. Maybe Rodney Hood is in the lineup for the Blazers, which would cut into his value a bit. Diagnosis: Reliable with a high ceiling.
