FanDuel daily picks: Fantasy basketball lineup – February 7, 2019
High Value PF
Players costing $6,667 or under
Thaddeus Young (vs LAC – $6,500): Needs 28.2 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 41.2 fantasy points against LA Lakers. Don’t put too much stock into the Pacers performance against the Lakers. The Lakers were just a mess in that game. But the Clippers might be a bit disjointed as well if they make the moves that they are expected to make. Young has been solid all season, gets the minutes and the opportunities. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a good ceiling.
Ivan Rabb (at OKC – $6,300): Needs 27.3 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 42.7 fantasy points against Minnesota. Rabb was in the starting lineup against the Timberwolves with Gasol out and delivered in a big way. He should be in the starting lineup again. The matchup is tougher but there is some very good value on the Grizzlies with their expected moves. Rabb might be the only guy I mention, but grab some value from Memphis on Thursday. Diagnosis: Reliable with a good ceiling.
Marcus Morris (vs LAL – $5,300): Needs 23 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 25.9 fantasy points against Oklahoma City. Morris rested in the last game but should be back in the lineup for this one. Check his status before making any decisions. Much like I love Marcus Smart because he’s a guy who just wants to beat up on poor opponents, Morris is the same kind of player. He will relish the Lakers struggles and dominate their weak frontcourt with a big game. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a good ceiling.
