Players costing $6,250 or under

Dennis Smith Jr (at DET – $5,800): Needs 27.5 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 39.25 fantasy points against Detroit. This is DSJ’s team now. I have no doubt about him right now. He’s going to log big minutes for the Knicks and he’s going to showcase himself to show that maybe the Knicks don’t need Kyrie. The Pistons aren’t good and someone has to get those numbers for the Knicks. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling.

Tomas Satoransky (vs CLE – $5,700): Needs 26.4 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 42.75 fantasy points against Milwaukee. Satoransky continues to play well for the Wizards and he should get more opportunities with their new pieces. Maybe. I really have no clue how the new Washington pieces are going to fit. But I know they are up against Cleveland which certainly helps their cause. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling.

Monte Morris (at PHI – $5,000): Needs 23.7 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 34.25 fantasy points against Brooklyn. Morris was moved to the bench but don’t be worried. The minutes are still there and the Nuggets offense continues to hum. And the matchup is good as I don’t know if the Sixers will have their depth guys in the lineup for this one. This should be an offensive affair and I love Morris’ salary compared to his minutes and usual production. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling.
