High Value PF

Players costing $6,250 or under

Larry Nance Jr (at WAS – $5,800): Needs 26.7 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 30 fantasy points against Boston. Nance Jr continues to play well for the Cavaliers as he’s the best option in their frontcourt. The Wizards got some frontcourt help with Portis and Parker but the latter won’t help their defense in the slightest. Nance Jr should get his rebounds and points in this one without an issue. Diagnosis: Reliable with a good ceiling.

Mason Plumlee (at PHI – $5,400): Needs 24.9 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 37.5 fantasy points against Brooklyn. As long as Plumlee is in the starting lineup, he should be in for another strong night. The matchup is good as he’ll be needed against the Sixers frontcourt, which got bigger and better with the addition of Harris. As long as he starts, you can take him with confidence. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a good ceiling.

Jabari Parker (vs CLE – $5,000): Needs 22.7 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 2 fantasy points against Miami. Look, I acknowledge that this is a risk. I still like Kevin Knox’s game because they want to feature him. I also like DeMarre Carroll, who is more reliable than Parker. But maybe Parker finds a home and gets big minutes in Washington. We know he can produce when he gets those minutes. And it’s Cleveland. The risk is that the minutes might not be there. But I’ve given you more reliable options if you don’t want the risk. Diagnosis: High risk with a good ceiling.
