High Salary C

Players costing over $6,667

Joel Embiid (vs DEN – $11,900): Needs 52.8 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 63.6 fantasy points against Toronto. You pretty much know what you’re getting with Embiid at this point. He’s been fantastic all season and now he gets a Nuggets team that has given up on defense. Tobias Harris being in the lineup changes things and I don’t know how much it changes things. But Embiid is still Embiid. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling.

Nikola Jokic (at PHI – $11,200): Needs 49.7 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 60.8 fantasy points against Brooklyn. And if you want to save a little bit of money, Jokic is a strong option behind Embiid. The two All-Star centers should put on a show in this game. He had 70.6 fantasy points against the Sixers on Jan. 26. I expect a similar game in this one. Alright, maybe not that high, but at least 60 fantasy points. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling.

DeMarcus Cousins (at PHO – $7,500): Needs 33.3 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 33.7 fantasy points against San Antonio. He’s still not playing big minutes but it doesn’t matter. He’s still putting up big numbers. And he’s going up against the Suns. Even in limited minutes, the Warriors are clearly featuring him and he’s making the most of his limited playing time. He’ll get you value if nothing else in this one. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a good ceiling.
