FanDuel daily picks: Fantasy basketball lineup – February 8, 2019
High Salary PG
Players costing over $6,667
Ben Simmons (vs DEN – $9,300): Needs 40.7 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 40.4 fantasy points against Toronto. Truthfully, I don’t know what to expect from the Sixers. They have a new toy in Tobias Harris and I love their starting lineup. And in theory, Simmons is going to have a more reliable shooter to pass to than Wilson Chandler. But I don’t know how Harris is going to quite fit. But I do know that the Nuggets defense has been bad and that Simmons is at a good salary and good spot. I think he’ll have a strong showing in this one. Diagnosis: Reliable with a good ceiling.
Eric Bledsoe (at DAL – $7,800): Needs 34.2 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 50.7 fantasy points against Washington. I’m stacking Bucks and continuing to stack Bucks. Bledsoe has been great as of late and the Bucks are just rolling. I don’t know if Mirotic will be in the lineup for them in this game but whether he’s there or not doesn’t really matter. If he’s there, it opens up the floor even more for Bledsoe. The matchup is good and I’m buying on all the Bucks. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling.
Tomas Satoransky (vs CLE – $6,800): Needs 29.8 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 38.4 fantasy points against Milwaukee. Satoransky has been great for the Wizards in recent outings and now he gets the Cavaliers. His salary has jumped up there but the minutes and opportunities will continue to be there for him. I don’t know what to expect from the Wizards with their trades. But I like his circumstances and matchup. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a good ceiling.
