FanDuel daily picks: Fantasy basketball lineup – February 8, 2019
High Salary SF
Players costing over $6,667
Giannis Antetokounmpo (at DAL – $12,000): Needs 51 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 61.2 fantasy points against Washington. It’s Giannis. I know you might be sick of me saying that if you’re a daily readers (thanks for reading daily) but what else can I say? You can always build around Giannis with confidence. He puts up big numbers in limited minutes and he’ll do the same in this one. And he’s the MVP. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a good ceiling.
Kevin Durant (at PHO – $9,800): Needs 41.6 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 55.1 fantasy points against San Antonio. I’m wary on members of the Warriors because they are playing the Suns and the Suns are terrible while the Warriors are very good. And they can share the ball around and make it look easy without too many guys getting big numbers. But it’s a weak lineup at small forward and Durant is typically a reliable option. Diagnosis: Reliable with a good ceiling.
Kelly Oubre (vs GS – $6,700): Needs 28.5 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 28.3 fantasy points against Utah. I don’t know if Otto Porter will play for the Bulls but if he does, he’s a fairly reliable option given the matchup and the fact that the Bulls are terrible and will need his scoring. But Oubre will get big minutes and he’s turned into a reliable option for the Suns, especially with all their injuries. He should get you value if nothing else in this one. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a good ceiling.
