FanDuel daily picks: Fantasy basketball lineup – February 8, 2019
High Salary PF
Players costing over $6,667
Blake Griffin (vs NY – $9,000): Needs 39.1 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 43.2 fantasy points against New York. Griffin just had a solid outing against the Knick and he should be in for another solid outing in this one, especially with the Pistons being back at home. Anthony Davis is scheduled to play for the Pelicans so you might want to look at him because he’s Anthony Davis. But I’m always a fan of taking good players against the Knicks. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a good ceiling.
Lauri Markkanen (at BKN – $8,100): Needs 35.2 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 43 fantasy points against New Orleans. Markkanen continues to be hot for the Bulls and now he gets a good matchup against the Nets. The addition of Otto Porter could change things a bit but I’m not too worried about it given how good Markkanen has been playing. He should continue to be the focal point of the Bulls offense moving forward, especially if Lavine doesn’t play. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling.
Josh Jackson (vs GS – $6,900): Needs 29.9 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 53.3 fantasy points against Utah. With Booker and Warren out of the lineup, Jackson will continue to play a big role for the Suns. The Warriors are a tough matchup because they are the Warriors but someone has to get numbers for the Suns and Jackson has been their top option in recent games. As long as Warren and Booker remain out of the lineup, Jackson will get it done. Diagnosis: Reliable with a good ceiling.
