1. WR Golden Tate (Philadelphia Eagles)

In 2018, the Tennessee Titans certainly had their issues at quarterback as fourth-year pro Marcus Mariota had problems staying on the field. But this was also an offense that didn’t scare opponents with its passing attack. Only three teams in the NFL gained fewer yards per game thought the air than Mike Vrabel’s club. The Titans’ offensive unit produced only 31 touchdowns – 16 through the air. Tennessee wide receivers combined for only seven TD receptions in ’18 – more than half of those by two-year pro Corey Davis (4).

This past season, the then-defending Super Bowl champion Philadelphia Eagles obtained veteran wide receiver Golden Tate from the Detroit Lions. After catching 44 passes for 517 yards and three scores for that team, he hauled in 30 passes for 278 yards and one score for the Birds. He would also haul in the game-winning score from Nick Foles in Philadelphia’s 16-15 win at Chicago in the NFC Wild Card Playoffs.

In nine combined seasons with the Seahawks, Lions and Eagles, Tate has racked up 611 catches for 7,214 yards and 38 touchdowns. He’s totaled at least 70 receptions in each of the past five seasons. He could certainly help a shaky Tennessee offense moved the chains on a consistent basis.
