DraftKings daily picks: Fantasy basketball lineup – Feb. 9, 2019
High Value C
Players costing $6,250 or under
Steven Adams (at HOU – $6,100): Needs 28.4 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 26.5 fantasy points against Memphis. Adams was in foul trouble against the Grizzlies which explains the lower production against them. His minutes should be back up in this one and the Thunder like to go to him in this matchup since the Rockets don’t have a great answer. Sorry, Faried. He’s been reliable all season and will get you value if nothing else in this one. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a good ceiling.
Bobby Portis (at CHI – $5,400): Needs 24.9 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 43.5 fantasy points against Cleveland. Much like Parker, Portis had a big debut for the Wizards. And also like Parker, he gets his former team in a revenge game. I love the pairing of Portis and Parker in this game as I expect them to wreak havoc on the Bulls frontcourt that consists of Lauri Markkanen and not much else. Portis is going to keep getting big minutes in the Wizards formally weak frontcourt. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling.
Mitchell Robinson (vs TOR – $4,200): Needs 19.6 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 26 fantasy points against Detroit. Robinson didn’t play big minutes against the Pistons but still put up numbers in the minutes that he did play. And I think his minutes will be up in this game as you can’t count on DeAndre Jordan and the Knicks know that Robinson should get the playing time to develop. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a good ceiling.
