DraftKings daily picks: Fantasy basketball lineup – Feb. 9, 2019
High Value PG
Players costing $6,250 or under
Tomas Satoransky (at CHI – $5,900): Needs 27.4 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 18 fantasy points against Cleveland. I’m going to trust Satoransky to bounce back in this one because it’s the Bulls. And I know the Cavaliers were the Cavaliers, but it’s tough to count out good players in back-to-back games against great matchups. Give him this game to prove himself. Diagnosis: Reliable with a good ceiling.
Malcolm Brogdon (vs ORL – $5,600): Needs 26.2 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 31.5 fantasy points against Dallas. Borgdon has been a reliable option all season and he’ll be a reliable option on Saturday given the matchup. And if Middleton is out, that’s even better for Brogdon’s value. There’s little mystery surrounding the Bucks and Brogdon at this point. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a good ceiling.
Fred VanVleet (at NY – $4,900): Needs 23 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 46.75 fantasy points against Atlanta. If VanVleet starts you can take him with confidence. He’s been good as the starter all season, you just don’t know when he’s going to start because the Raptors withhold injury information until the last minutes. Injuries are terrible. The matchup is good and VanVleet will have a good night at the office as long as he starts. Diagnosis: Very reliable as long as he starts.
