DraftKings daily picks: Fantasy basketball lineup – Feb. 9, 2019
High Value SF
Players costing $6,250 or under
Jayson Tatum (vs LAC – $6,000): Needs 27.3 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 46 fantasy points against LA Lakers. Tatum has been over 44 fantasy points in his last two games and over 30 fantasy points in his last three contests. He’s playing a well-rounded game right now. So well-rounded that he’s playing himself right to New Orleans. I jest. The matchup is good as the Celtics will bounce back strong and the Clippers don’t care to win. Diagnosis: Reliable with a good ceiling.
Jeff Green (at CHI – $5,400): Needs 24.5 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 33 fantasy points against Cleveland. Even with the new additions to the lineup, Green is still getting solid minutes and opportunities. And the Bulls are even weaker in their frontcourt after the trade. I know it’s tough to keep trusting Jeff Green but he remains at a good salary based on his current production. Diagnosis: Reliable with a good ceiling.
Iman Shumpert (vs OKC – $3,700): Needs 16.9 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 32.5 fantasy points against San Antonio. You’ve got to trust me on this one. Shumpert always kills the Thunder. In two games this season, he’s averaging 41.8 fantasy points. I swear he’s never missed a shot against the Thunder. He’s a low-cost option who is going to deliver in a big way given the shots he’ll get on the Rockets. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling.
