Players costing $6,667 or under

Brook Lopez (vs ORL – $5,300): Needs 23.6 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 31.2 fantasy points against Dallas. You should know what to expect with Lopez by this point. The minutes are always there for him, as are the opportunities. If he’s shooting hot, look out. And he’ll chip in with some rebounds. The matchup is a good one given how the Magic play. Diagnosis: Reliable with a high ceiling.

Thomas Bryant (at CHI – $5,100): Needs 22.7 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 26.2 fantasy points against Cleveland. With the new additions, I don’t know if Bryant will get big minutes moving forward but he’s doing well in limited minutes. He had a big 36.6 fantasy point effort against the Bulls on Dec. 28. The matchup is good because the Bulls don’t have much size anymore. Diagnosis: Fairly reliable with a good ceiling.

Mitchell Robinson (vs TOR – $4,600): Needs 20.5 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 28.7 fantasy points against Detroit. Robinson didn’t get many minutes against the Pistons with DeAndre Jordan playing well but I expect him to get more minutes in this one. The Knicks know he is part of their future and will give him the appropriate playing time. Diagnosis: Reliable with a good ceiling.
