High Salary SG

Players costing over $6,250

Buddy Hield (vs PHO – $6,600): Needs 30.2 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 38.25 fantasy points against Miami. Hield continues to shoot the ball well and he’s been chipping in with rebounds. And now he gets the Suns. I love the way he’s playing right now and he’s at a good salary relative to the rest of the field. He has the potential to go off and should do exactly that given this matchup. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling.

Klay Thompson (vs MIA – $6,300): Needs 29.1 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 44.5 fantasy points against Phoenix. Klay Thompson is shooting hot right now and that’s a bad thing for the rest of the league. Well, worse than it already was given how much talent the Warriors have. The shots are always there and he’s been doing more in other areas, which has helped his value. Diagnosis: Reliable with a high ceiling.

High Value SG

Players costing $6,250 or under

Kelly Oubre Jr (at SAC – $5,900): Needs 27 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 53.5 fantasy points against Golden State. It looks like Devin Booker will be back in this game but don’t let that deter you from Oubre Jr. He’s been great for the Suns since the trade, does a bit of everything, and has a great matchup given Sacramento’s typical pace and style. Expect him to deliver again. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling.

Terrence Ross (at ATL – $5,300): Needs 24.3 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 25 fantasy points against Milwaukee. Ross cooled off a bit against the Bucks but he still did enough to get value and there is reason to think he’ll bounce back in this game considering how good he’s been during this stretch and the matchup. Expect his shot to fall more often in this game. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a good ceiling.
