DraftKings daily picks: Fantasy basketball lineup – February 10, 2019
High Salary SF
Players costing over $6,250
Kevin Durant (vs MIA – $9,100): Needs 41.4 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 34 fantasy points against Phoenix. It’s a weak night at the forward position and the Warriors are too good for their own DFS value right now. Durant is typically a reliable option but his ceiling isn’t as high as Stephen Curry or Thompson simply because he’s not that kind of scorer. But he does get more numbers than them in other categories on most nights. Diagnosis: Reliable with a decent ceiling.
Aaron Gordon (at ATL – $6,700): Needs 30.5 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 22.5 fantasy points against Milwaukee. I don’t like Gordon’s game because it’s frustrating. He has a high ceiling and he can put up numbers in all categories. And then he has games where you’re not even sure he’s on the floor. The matchup is good and maybe this is one of his strong games. Diagnosis: Inconsistent with a high ceiling.
High Value SF
Players costing $6,250 or under
Bogdan Bogdanovic (vs PHO – $5,000): Needs 22.9 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 32.25 fantasy points against Miami. You can go with Bogdanovic or Harrison Barnes in this position. I like Bogdanovic a bit more because he puts up numbers in multiple categories while Barnes is mainly a scorer. And he’s a cold scorer right now. The matchup remains the same. Diagnosis: Reliable with a good ceiling.
Evan Fournier (at ATL – $5,000): Needs 22.9 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 23.25 fantasy points against Milwaukee. Fournier is as inconsistent as they come but he’s settled into a nice spot as of late. And now he gets the Hawks. He’s averaging 37.2 fantasy points in his last three games against the Hawks, including a 43.25 fantasy point effort against them on Jan. 21. He should be in for another strong night. Diagnosis: Reliable with a high ceiling.
