DraftKings daily picks: Fantasy basketball lineup – February 10, 2019
High Salary PF
Players costing over $6,250
John Collins (vs ORL – $7,800): Needs 36 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 29.25 fantasy points against Charlotte. As much as I like Collins, I don’t like him as a DFS player. His salary remains too high for the production he’s been giving you as of late. He does have a high ceiling because he’s a double-double threat who can put up big scoring and rebounding numbers. But it’s just not there right now. Diagnosis: Inconsistent with a high ceiling.
Josh Jackson (at SAC – $6,200): Needs 28.2 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 38 fantasy points against Golden State. The return of Booker complicates things for Jackson because he won’t see nearly the same amount of opportunities. He is more than a scorer which is the good news and I like the matchup overall but his ceiling isn’t as high with Booker in the lineup. Diagnosis: Reliable with a good ceiling.
High Value PF
Players costing $6,250 or under
Marvin Bagley III (vs PHO – $6,000): Needs 27.7 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 12.75 fantasy points against Miami. This game is a big risk for MB3 based on his performance against the Heat. But I’m going to consider the Heat game an off-night and expect him to bounce back against the Suns. It’s the Suns. The new pieces do complicate things a bit for Bagley III. Diagnosis: Slightly inconsistent with a high ceiling.
Jonathan Isaac (at ATL – $5,000): Needs 22.7 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 29 fantasy points against Milwaukee. Isaac has continued to play well for the Magic and now he has a good matchup against the Hawks. I love his game right now and he remains at a good salary based on his current minutes and production. Diagnosis: Reliable with a good ceiling.
