Players costing over $6,250

Nikola Vucevic (at ATL – $9,500): Needs 44.4 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 48.75 fantasy points against Milwaukee. If was a good night for Vucevic against a shorthanded Bucks. He’s been a reliable option all season and now he gets a great matchup against the Bucks. He’s averaging 58.1 fantasy points in his last four games against the Hawks. This should be easy money for Vucevic on Sunday. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling.

DeMarcus Cousins (vs MIA – $6,800): Needs 31.8 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 34.75 fantasy points against Phoenix. You pretty much know what you’re getting from Cousins at this point. His minutes were up against the Suns which is the good news. And he’s been a reliable option because the Warriors make sure he’s featured. He hasn’t shown a high ceiling yet, but that’s probably coming. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a decent ceiling.

Players costing $6,250 or under

Willie Cauley-Stein (vs PHO – $5,300): Needs 24.8 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 25.25 fantasy points against Miami. It’s been a rough few games for WCS but your choices are rather limited, he still gets good minutes and he gets to go up against the Suns. He had 40.25 fantasy points against the Suns on Jan. 8. You can always bet against the Suns with some certainty. Diagnosis: Fairly reliable with a good ceiling.

Dewayne Dedmon (vs ORL – $4,800): Needs 22.2 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 31.25 fantasy points against Charlotte. Dedmon had been cold coming into the Hornets game but he played well against Charlotte and maybe that can spark something. He’s at a nice salary given his typical minutes and production. Diagnosis: Fairly reliable with a good ceiling.
