FanDuel daily picks: Fantasy basketball lineup – February 10, 2019
High Salary PG
Players costing over $6,667
Steph Curry (vs MIA – $9,200): Needs 40.3 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 42.9 fantasy points against Phoenix. It’s a weak main slate on Sunday so your options are going to be limited. Curry is typically reliable because of the team he plays on and if he gets hot, he can break the system. He hasn’t shot it great over the last week but he’s chipped in in other areas and should be good enough to at least get value in this one. Diagnosis: Reliable with a good ceiling.
Trae Young (vs ORL – $7,500): Needs 32.9 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 39.7 fantasy points against Charlotte. Young has been on a nice roll as of late and has certainly seemed to settle in. Both teams are on a back-to-back but at least the Hawks game finished early. If nothing else, he should get you value in this one given how well he’s been playing. Diagnosis: Reliable with a good ceiling.
High Value PG
Players costing $6,667 or under
DJ Augustin (at ATL – $5,000): Needs 21.9 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 17.9 fantasy points against Milwaukee. Your options are limited on this night but I like Augustin on Sunday. It’s a bit of a gut feeling but the pace will be up, leading to more DFS opportunities and the matchup is good with the Hawks. Augustin usually gets the minutes to put up numbers and does a bit of everything. Diagnosis: Fairly reliable with a good ceiling.
Jeremy Lin (vs ORL – $4,100): Needs 18 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 26.4 fantasy points against Charlotte. Lin hasn’t been great recently but he was up against the Hornets so maybe this will be a jumpstart for him. It’s a rough night at point guard so your options are pretty limited. Lin typically gets decent minutes and has flashed a high ceiling. Diagnosis: Inconsistent with a good ceiling.
