FanDuel daily picks: Fantasy basketball lineup – February 10, 2019
High Salary SF
Players costing over $6,667
Kevin Durant (vs MIA – $9,700): Needs 41.4 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 31.1 fantasy points against Phoenix. You typically know what you’re getting from Durant. He’s a reliable option with a limited ceiling because he’s not usually the guy who catches fire for the Warriors. But he puts up numbers in other categories. There’s nothing spectacular about his game right now but if you’re just looking for some guaranteed points in your lineup, he’s there. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a decent ceiling.
Josh Richardson (at GS – $6,700): Needs 28.6 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 36.4 fantasy points against Sacramento. Richardson has been over 30 fantasy points in three of his last four games. But he was brutal against the Warriors last season, failing to crack 18 fantasy points in two contests. And the Heat just look like a lifeless group on most nights. If Wade is out, someone has to get numbers. Maybe it’ll be him. Diagnosis: An option.
High Value SF
Players costing $6,667 or under
Jonathan Isaac (at ATL – $5,900): Needs 25.2 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 28.2 fantasy points against Milwaukee. Isaac continues to give the Magic strong production and the minutes will continue to be there for him. The matchup is great as these two teams should trade baskets. It’s a slow night and Isaac is at a good salary and has the potential to put up a huge game. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a good ceiling.
Taurean Prince (vs ORL – $5,300): Needs 22.6 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 9.6 fantasy points against Charlotte. Prince had a rough outing against the Hornets but the minutes and opportunities are still there for him if you’re looking for some confidence. And it’s a terrible night at small forward. You may just want to take a $3,500 option and get that score dropped so you can stack elsewhere. But again, Prince gets minutes and has shown a high ceiling. Diagnosis: Inconsistent with a good ceiling.
