FanDuel daily picks: Fantasy basketball lineup – February 10, 2019
High Salary PF
Players costing over $6,667
John Collins (vs ORL – $8,000): Needs 34.6 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 29 fantasy points against Charlotte. I always love Collins’ game but he just isn’t cutting it in DFS right now. His salary remains too high for the production he’s been giving you. His ceiling is high because he can put up points and rebounds with the best of them. Diagnosis: Inconsistent with a high ceiling.
Aaron Gordon (at ATL – $7,100): Needs 30.7 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 22.2 fantasy points against Milwaukee. I don’t like Gordon’s game overall but the potential is there for him to deliver a big night. And this would be a good matchup for him to do just that. But make no mistake about it, he’s just as much of a risk as Collins. Diagnosis: Inconsistent with a good ceiling.
High Value PF
Players costing $6,667 or under
Draymond Green (vs MIA – $6,700): Needs 29 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 21.3 fantasy points against Phoenix. I’m cheating because. Come on. Green’s minutes are down as the Warriors don’t actually need him at this point. He typically does a bit of everything but he’s not reliable in a single category. And with Cousins on the team, his role has become less. He’s an option on a slow night. Diagnosis: Fairly reliable with a decent ceiling.
James Johnson (at GS – $4,200): Needs 18.2 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 21.6 fantasy points against Sacramento. Johnson is playing the best out of the three Miami forwards. Olynyk starts and this feels like a very Kelly Olynyk game but no one from the Miami frontcourt is all that reliable. Diagnosis: An option.
