High Salary C

Players costing over $6,667

Nikola Vucevic (at ATL – $9,600): Needs 43 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 44.9 fantasy points against Milwaukee. Vucevic didn’t have to play too many minutes against the Bucks as it was a blowout with Giannis out of the lineup for the Bucks. So he should be a bit rested and he gets the Hawks, which is a matchup he’s dominated in the last two season. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling.

Hassan Whiteside (at GS – $8,400): Needs 37.6 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 56.3 fantasy points against Sacramento. Whiteside has been over 50 fantasy points in his last two games. I don’t know if it’ll continue in this game because Whiteside is weird and the Warriors are the Warriors. And Whiteside won’t have it easy with Cousins. He has a higher ceiling than Cousins but he’s not as reliable. Diagnosis: Inconsistent with a high ceiling.

High Value C

Players costing $6,667 or under

DeMarcus Cousins (vs MIA – $7,500): Needs 33.6 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 35 fantasy points against Phoenix. Cousins was up to 27 minutes against the Suns which means he’s getting healthy which means the season is officially over. He’s been a reliable option since he returned and if his minutes are going to be around 30 minutes a game now, he’ll easily be at value once again. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a decent ceiling.

Dewayne Dedmon (vs ORL – $5,400): Needs 24.2 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 29.9 fantasy points against Charlotte. I like Dedmon a bit more than Collins just because he doesn’t cost as much. He gets solid minutes and can put up similar numbers to Collins. The matchup is good as this should be a high pace game with plenty of DFS points to go around. Diagnosis: Fairly reliable with a good ceiling.
