High Value PG

Players costing $6,250 or under

Malcolm Brogdon (at CHI – $5,700): Needs 26.5 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 22.5 fantasy points against Orlando. Not a great night for Brogdon in Orlando but they didn’t have Giannis as the last minutes so that probably changed some things. And the Magic are an underrated squad. The Bulls just stink. With or without Giannis, Brogdon should bounce back in this game given what he’s shown all season. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a good ceiling.

Jordan Clarkson (vs NY – $5,200): Needs 24.2 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 31.5 fantasy points against Indiana. Clarkson is playing well right now and he gets the Knicks. The scoring opportunities will continue to be there for him and he’s done well to provide value in other categories. This could be a sloppy affair given the state of both teams but someone has to get numbers for the Cavaliers backcourt and Clarkson has been that guy recently. Diagnosis: Reliable with a high ceiling.

Isaiah Canaan (vs LAC – $3,500): Needs 16.6 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 26.5 fantasy points against New Orleans. This is all about the circumstances. If Canaan is the only point guard on the roster for a second straight game, you can take him with confidence. He’s going to get the minutes to produce and he’ll get numbers just based on opportunities. As long as he starts, you can take him with confidence. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a good ceiling if he starts.
