High Salary SF

Players costing over $6,250

Paul George (vs POR – $10,300): Needs 46.7 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 68.75 fantasy points against Houston. You may have noticed the absence of Russell Westbrook and James Harden earlier. Obviously, you can take both players with confidence. Westbrook is more reliable just because of his lower salary and the fact that he’s nearly guaranteed a triple-double. But if you want the best value, Paul George is your building block. He’s been amazing for the Thunder and I’m not seeing him slowing down. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling.

Andrew Wiggins (vs LAC – $6,500): Needs 29.6 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 51 fantasy points against New Orleans. I don’t like Wiggins’ game but with the Timberwolves lack of a point guard, Wiggins is the guy carrying the offense. He’s played well in the last two games and he’ll continue to get those opportunities with the Timberwolves lacking strong guard options. Diagnosis: Reliable with a high ceiling.

Khris Middleton (at CHI – $6,400): Needs 29.1 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 35 fantasy points against Orlando. With or without Giannis, Middleton plays a reliable game based on his salary and opportunities. And the matchup is a great one as the Bulls are terrible. If Giannis is in, his ceiling is a bit higher because there is less pressure on him. But he’s more reliable with Giannis out. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a good ceiling.
