High Salary PF

Players costing over $6,250

Blake Griffin (vs WAS – $9,000): Needs 41.5 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 39 fantasy points against New York. Don’t worry about his last game against the Knicks. His minutes were down in the blowout. Griffin has been a strong option for most of the season and I like him against the Wizards because this should be an offensive affair. Griffin is nothing if not reliable at the moment but I’m expecting more from him in this game based on the matchup. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling.

Lauri Markkanen (vs MIL – $7,900): Needs 36.4 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 41.25 fantasy points against Washington. Markkanen continues to stay hot but now he’s running into a tough matchup. The Bucks will be angry after this loss to the Magic and if Giannis is back in the lineup, this becomes an even tougher matchup. But I love riding the hot hand and few players are as hot as Markkanen right now. Plus the Bulls frontcourt is rather weak, leading to at least rebounds for Markkanen. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling.

Bobby Portis (at DET – $6,300): Needs 29 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 35.5 fantasy points against Chicago. One reason the Bulls frontcourt is weak because they traded away Portis, who has been playing very well in his two games with the Wizards. The minutes will continue to be there for him and those minutes could be up in this game based on the matchup. I love his game right now and he’s always been a productive player when given the minutes. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling.
