FanDuel daily picks: Fantasy basketball lineup – February 11, 2019
High Value PG
Players costing $6,667 or under
Patrick Beverley (at MIN – $5,100): Needs 22.3 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 37.3 fantasy points against Boston. Beverley continues to play great for the Clippers and now he comes into a good matchup as the Timberwolves don’t offer much defense and have no point guard. Beverley does a bit of everything and has stepped up his game following the trade of Harris. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a good ceiling.
Cory Joseph (vs CHA – $4,900): Needs 21.4 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 38.8 fantasy points against Cleveland. CoJo is on a roll for the Pacers and has really stepped up his game following the injury to Oladipo. I don’t know how the addition of Wesley Matthews is going to change his game but it shouldn’t cut into his value too much. And he remains at a good salary with a good matchup given the lack of Hornets defense. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling.
Isaiah Canaan (vs LAC – $3,700): Needs 16.2 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 26.9 fantasy points against New Orleans. As long as Canaan is the starter, you can take him with confidence. Someone has to get numbers for the Timberwolves at the point guard position and Canaan will be the only option if he’s the starter. Andrew Wiggins has taken over more of the playmaking duties but Canaan remains a value player with this salary and the minutes he’ll get. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a good ceiling.
