High Value SG

Players costing $6,667 or under

Andrew Wiggins (vs LAC – $6,500): Needs 28.2 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 49.5 fantasy points against New Orleans. Wiggins has been fantastic in the last two games as he’s taken over more playmaking duties with the injuries to the point guards. I still don’t trust him overall but there’s no denying the way he’s playing right now and he has a high ceiling. The matchup is good with the Clippers not being great defensively and undecided if they want to win. Diagnosis: Reliable with a high ceiling.

Malcolm Brogdon (at CHI – $6,400): Needs 27.8 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 21.8 fantasy points against Orlando. Brogdon was down against the Magic but don’t be too concerned. With Giannis expected to be back in the lineup, Brogdon will have a bounce back performance in this game. He’s been a reliable option all season and the matchup is too good to pass on. You can also spend the extra $100 and grab Middleton, who has a higher ceiling but maybe it’s quite as reliable. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a good ceiling.

Jordan Clarkson (vs NY – $5,800): Needs 25.2 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 30.4 fantasy points against Indiana. Clarkson has played well more often than not over the last couple of weeks. And now he gets the Knicks. Someone has to get those points in the Cleveland backcourt and it’s been Clarkson at the moment. This could be an ugly game from a basketball perspective but again, someone has to score for the Cavaliers. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a good ceiling.
