High Value SF

Players costing $6,667 or under

Nicolas Batum (at IND – $5,600): Needs 23.9 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 26.8 fantasy points against Atlanta. Batum’s game can be a bit all over the place but he’s playing great right now and we know he can do a bit of everything. He hasn’t been great against the Pacers this season but I like the current run he’s on and I’m going to trust him to deliver in this spot. Diagnosis: Reliable with a good ceiling.

Kevin Knox (at CLE – $4,600): Needs 19.6 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 30.8 fantasy points against Toronto. Knox broke out of his two-game slump with a strong performance against the Raptors. Hopefully, that sparks him to a bigger run. He’ll certainly have a chance to follow up with a big game as the Cavaliers are an easy opponent. He doesn’t lack for the opportunities or the minutes. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling.

Jabari Parker (at DET – $3,900): Needs 16.6 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 40 fantasy points against Chicago. I’m unsure how Jabari Parker is at this salary given what we’ve seen from him in two games with Washington. Maybe they think he’ll be out of the rotation? There’s been no sign of that and he’s proven to be a very productive offensive player when given the minutes. This seems like an easy pick and almost like a trap, but I’ll fall for it based on the information out there. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a high ceiling.
