1. Green Bay Packers

Packers fans don’t want to hear this, but Aaron Rodgers can’t play football forever. The Green Bay organization needs to do everything they can to take advantage of the productive seasons he has left.

Aaron Jones played well for the team last season, but Mike McCarthy never seemed to fully trust him. Matt LaFleur might treat him differently, but we’re inclined to think McCarthy had some good reason for trying to limit Jones’ role in the offense.

Signing Bell wouldn’t totally freeze Jones out, but it would minimize Jamaal Williams. He only managed 3.8 yards per rush on 121 carries last year. That clearly isn’t enough to justify his workload.

It’s also important to note that no running back caught more than 27 passes for Green Bay in 2018. Bell’s arrival in Green Bay would shatter that level of production. He’d be a legitimate threat to catch over 100 balls from Rodgers. That could make the Packers’ receiving corps look like an elite group once again.

The thought of Rodgers slinging the ball all over the field to Bell should get fans really excited. It might be an unlikely combination, but the pair would be insanely productive.
