16. Carolina Panthers – Brian Burns, EDGE, Florida State

Julius Peppers has retired so the Panthers have an even bigger need for a defensive end than they already had. Brian Burns was a terror off the edge and represented one of the lone bright spots for Florida State the last two years.

17. Cleveland Browns – Jeffery Simmons, DT, Mississippi State

The Browns are ascending with Baker Mayfield and some nice young talent. Jeffery Simmons is a top-10 talent, but an off-field incident when he was in high school and caught on tape fighting a woman will likely push him down draft boards. Simmons has dominant ability to defend the run and the pass.

18. Minnesota Vikings – Cody Ford, OT, Oklahoma

The Vikings need to do a better job protecting Kirk Cousins and opening up running lanes for Dalvin Cook. Cody Ford is a monster prospect at 6’3″ and 340 pounds and can play right tackle or move inside to guard.

19. Tennessee Titans – Marquise “Hollywood” Brown, WR, Oklahoma

The Titans have to get more help for Marcus Mariota. The board doesn’t line up for the Titans to take an offensive lineman, but they can have their pick of the receivers. It’s not a strong group of receivers this year, but Marquise Brown has elite speed that can take the top off a defense and bring a big-play element to the offense opposite Corey Davis.

20. Pittsburgh Steelers – Greedy Williams, CB, LSU

The Steelers would be racing to the podium to get the card in for this pick. Greedy Williams could be gone in the top 8-10 picks, so to get the latest corner out of LSU at No. 20 is an exceptional value. Williams would be a Day 1 starter and provide some much-needed support in the back end to complement their front seven.
