High Value PG

Players costing $6,250 or under

Rajon Rondo (at ATL – $5,900): Needs 27.9 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 13.25 fantasy points against Philadelphia. Rondo was way down against the Sixers. Not only in production but in minutes as well. And it didn’t exactly work. My guess is Rondo will see his minutes boosted in this game largely due to the matchup and because LeBron James will be out of the lineup. And finally, because he’s actually one of the veterans who can produce for the Lakers. Diagnosis: Fairly reliable with a high ceiling.

Ricky Rubio (at GS – $5,800): Needs 27.4 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 33 fantasy points against San Antonio. Rubio is a pretty inconsistent player overall but he’s played well more often than not as of late. And while the Warriors are the Warriors, their defense is still sorting itself out a bit. I don’t love the matchup but the minutes and opportunities will be there for him. Diagnosis: Fairly reliable with a good ceiling.

Patty Mills (at MEM – $4,100): Needs 19.1 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 27 fantasy points against Utah. With Derrick White out of the lineup, Mills has been the guy to make the most of the extra opportunities. Forbes is the starter but Mills is the better play right now. I don’t know what to make of the Grizzlies but I know the Spurs play a fairly consistent game and Mills is at a good salary given his usual minutes and production. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a good ceiling.
