DraftKings daily picks: Fantasy basketball lineup – February 12, 2019
High Value SG
Players costing $6,250 or under
Klay Thompson (vs UTA – $6,100): Needs 27.9 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 38.75 fantasy points against Miami. Klay has continued his hot shooting streak so you can keep taking him with confidence. The shots will always be there for him and when he’s shooting like this, there’s not much you can really do about it. The matchup is tough because the Jazz play very good team defense but Klay is finding more room than ever right now. Diagnosis: Reliable with a high ceiling.
Brandon Ingram (at ATL – $5,500): Needs 25.6 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 28.5 fantasy points against Philadelphia. Ingram has settled at a decent enough salary given his minutes and production. If LeBron James doesn’t play, that will certainly help his production as he’ll handle more of the playmaking and scoring duties. The matchup is a good one given the Hawks style and pace. Diagnosis: Reliable with a good ceiling (both go up if LeBron is out).
Kevin Huerter (vs LAL – $4,800): Needs 21.8 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 24.25 fantasy points against Orlando. Much like Ingram, Huerter has settled into a nice salary given his minutes and typical production. And I like this matchup for the Hawks just as much as I like it for the Lakers. DFS numbers should be plenty for both teams and Huerter will get his looks in the Atlanta offense. Diagnosis: Reliable with a good ceiling.
