DraftKings daily picks: Fantasy basketball lineup – February 12, 2019
High Salary SF
Players costing over $6,250
Kevin Durant (vs UTA – $9,100): Needs 41.2 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 53.5 fantasy points against Miami. You typically know what you’re getting from Durant. He does a bit of everything and he has a high ceiling based on his scoring numbers. The Jazz can be a tough matchup but there’s really no questioning Durant’s game. It’s just a matter of how many points will he score? Diagnosis: Reliable with a good ceiling.
Jimmy Butler (vs BOS – $6,800): Needs 30.9 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 25 fantasy points against LA Lakers. Your options here are Sixers or Aaron Gordon. I’m not a fan of Ben Simmons against the Celtics because he seems to struggle with them more often than not. And I’m not a fan of Aaron Gordon because he’s Aaron Gordon. But Butler is an inconsistent option. His ceiling is high, but there’s reliability elsewhere. Diagnosis: Inconsistent with a good ceiling.
Tobias Harris (vs BOS – $6,600): Needs 29.9 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 41.5 fantasy points against LA Lakers. One reliable option who is better than Butler would be Harris. He’s played well in both games with the Sixers and is a better option simply because he blends into the Sixers system better and makes himself more available for offensive opportunities. I’m expecting another strong performance from Harris in this one. Diagnosis: Reliable with a high ceiling.
