DraftKings daily picks: Fantasy basketball lineup – February 12, 2019
High Salary PF
Players costing over $6,250
Anthony Davis (vs ORL – $10,300): Needs 47.5 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 51.5 fantasy points against Memphis. I don’t know how many minutes Anthony Davis is going to play. The Pelicans probably don’t know how many minutes Anthony Davis will play. He can put up big numbers in limited minutes but this is a big salary to commit to if he plays only 25 minutes. But if he plays over 30 minutes, we know he can break the system. If he wants. Does he want to do anything in New Orleans? I don’t know. Diagnosis: Fairly reliable with a high ceiling.
LaMarcus Aldridge (at MEM – $7,700): Needs 35.5 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 37.5 fantasy points against Utah. Aldridge’s game has settled in to something reliability. The matchup is a good one since the Grizzlies don’t offer too much in their frontcourt and there’s definitely room for Aldridge to take advantage of them given his rebounding and scoring ability. That rebounding and scoring ability goes up with Gay out of the lineup. Diagnosis: Reliable with a good ceiling.
Julius Randle (vs ORL – $7,400): Needs 34.1 fantasy points. LAST GAME – 33.5 fantasy points against Memphis. Randle has also settled in to be a reliable option. The matchup is a good one as defense should be optional in this game. If Davis doesn’t end up playing many minutes, Randle will see more opportunities. I like Randle’s game this season and trust him to deliver in this matchup. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a good ceiling.
